Carnival in Xanthi 2023!!!
It returns 3 years later with over 15000 carnivalists and a theme: "Dreams - Colours - Smells - Fragrances - Perfumes".
The Carnival in Xanthi - Thracian Folklore Celebrations organized by the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Xanthi, awaits you with dancing, fun, music and unique moments of entertainment. From Friday 10 February until Monday 27 February, the city with a thousand colours will once again offer young and old a non-stop frenetic celebration and moments of liveliness and carefree moments. For a total of 18 days, tune in to a programme rich in concerts, traditional feasts, theatre performances and folklore evenings. The culmination of the events closes in the most spectacular way: the carnival parade and the burning of the Tzaros! At the edge of the Kosynthos River we will be there to enjoy it and admire the Thracian sky lit up by the spectacular fireworks.
